- Casey Caldwell and Joe Trouette

We joined forces in 1989 and started Caldwell/Trouette after working on several jobs together. We met while working on the Norton Mansion, run by the first woman contractor Licensed in the State of California, Enid Sales, who hired her crew from the local lumber company, Healdsburg Lumber. Casey and Joe were licensed individually at the time, and after working several jobs together, decided to form Caldwell/Trouette General Contractors in 1993, and became incorporated in 1999.

Caldwell/Trouette has been fortunate to win mention for our projects. Below are some examples:

Casey and Joe have seen many changes take place in Healdsburg, and are proud to be a quality force in the local building community. While most of our work has been located in the town of Healdsburg, we have also done many jobs in Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Cloverdale, and San Rafael.

Casey Caldwell moved to Healdsburg in 1981 from Southern California, is married with two daughters, and was licensed in 1988. He started working in the construction field during high school summers for his father, a Southern California building contractor. Case went on to work for a Los Angeles-based cabinet shop, specializing in commercial showrooms, and worked for the largest hardwood floor company in the western United States for 2 years. After moving to Healdsburg in 1981, Casey worked for several general contractors and cabinet shops before forming a partnership with Joe Trouette in 1989.

Casey Caldwell is a go-to source for local media on construction-related articles and is often quoted in interviews. Here are a few examples:

Joe Trouette was raised in Healdsburg, and moved to town with his family when he was 5 years old. He attended Healdsburg High School andwas licensed in 1985. Joe worked for several general contractors after college before joining forces with Casey Caldwell in 1989.
